Fill in each blank with the correct word. If both words can be used, choose the one that sounds more natural in each situation:

1. This palace was the summer (residence/residents) of the Emperor Franz Joseph.

2. On you right you'll see a beautiful example of 17th century Neo-gothic architecture. Presently it (houses/homes) the Museum of Justice, but it used to be a prison.

How long does it take to fly to Australia? From Europe it'll take anywhere from 20-25 hours. Most flights will have a stopover somewhere in Asia. From Los Angeles there are direct flights to Sydney which take about 15 hours. Flying to New Zealand (Auckland) is about the same, although New Zealand is a little closer to the United States, and a little farther from Europe. 25 hours from London, 20 from New York, and about 12 hours from Los Angeles.
